George married Emma Dudley, daughter of Walter Stafford Dudley and Jane Elliott, on 18 Oct 1893 in Alachua County, Florida. Emma was born on 10 Jul 1863 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, died on 10 May 1944 in Pinellas County, Florida at age 80, and was buried in 1944 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida. They had four children: Walter Dudley, George Barnard, Edward A., and Eugene McRay.1

1. Walter Dudley THOMAS was born on 17 Apr 1894 in Florida, died on 21 Dec 1974 in El Paso, El Paso County, Texas at age 80, and was buried on 27 Dec 1974 in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, El Paso, Texas.

   Walter married Florence HASTINGS, daughter of Samuel HASTINGS Jr. and Florence N. HARDING,. Florence was born on 16 Jul 1892 in Illinois, died on 13 May 1969 in El Paso, El Paso County, Texas at age 76, and was buried on 16 May 1969 in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, El Paso, Texas. They had two children: James Dudley "Jay" and George Harding.

   • James Dudley "Jay" THOMAS was born on 20 Oct 1918 in El Paso County, Texas, died on 31 Mar 2012 in Texas at age 93, and was buried in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, El Paso, Texas. He was usually called Jay.

     Jay married Lee CAMPBELL about 1944. Lee was born on 7 Feb 1926 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, died on 14 Jan 2009 at age 82, and was buried in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, El Paso, Texas. They had two children: Florence K. "Kit" and Sandra Gail.

   • George Harding THOMAS was born in 1921 in El Paso County, Texas.

     George married Marianne HAYES.

2. George Barnard THOMAS was born on 18 Feb 1897 in Florida, died on 2 Jul 1961 in Lee County, Florida at age 64, and was buried in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston, Hendry County, Florida.

   George married Rosa Agnes YOUNG on 8 Jun 1922 in Hillsborough County, Florida. Rosa was born on 2 Sep 1898 in Tennessee and died on 13 Aug 1972 in Palm Beach County, Florida at age 73. They had one daughter: Mary Louise.

3. Edward A. THOMAS was born in Dec 1899 in Florida.

4. Eugene McRay THOMAS was born on 20 Nov 1904 in Florida, died on 2 Apr 1980 at age 75, and was buried in Restlawn Memorial Park, El Paso, Texas.

   Eugene married Inez Elizabeth HANLEY, daughter of Michael William HANLEY and Minnie Belle ROWE, about 1927. Inez was born on 18 Jul 1903 in Alabama, died on 29 Nov 1961 in El Paso, El Paso County, Texas at age 58, and was buried in Restlawn Memorial Park, El Paso, Texas. They had one daughter: Jean Ann.
